I dont know about some bias cb7 owners, but i think the majority of this board, including myself, would take a bb6 over a cb7 any day of the year.
Take it from me, i own both, and the cb7 doesn't have one thing better then a bb6

What I think is lost on everyone...look at the bigger picture. Just look at the difference in years...the newest CB was a 93, the oldest BB6 was a 97...there's 4 years of difference there. They're not going to be in the same league in terms of refinement, moderness, etc.
Sure a lot of us think the CB is good or better than the BB6, but this is also a very biased viewpoint. But you also have to look at cost. Who here could have bought a BB6 instead of a CB when they first got a car.
Think about this...if they were the same price sitting on a dealer lot, and you didn't know much about the import world...which one would you choose?
I'm not saying the CB7 isn't a great car. It is...I love mine to death and would love to dump a Prelude motor into it...but is it a better car than a BB6 when you actually compare it? I can't honestly say yes. No one even takes into consideration the handling differences in the car. IN 1998 Car and Driver proclaimed the BB6 SH as the best handling car under 30K...the must have done something right...
Oh well, I can always dream of a Prelude...until then I'll stick with the CB

I already saw one for sale listed locally for $11,000. It's a 1998 Prelude Type SH. Now I have heard that you cannot turbo a Type SH because it will fuq up the ATTS system. Any of you prelude owners know if this is true? What if I only run 5 psi boost?
The SH is WONDERFUL for handling those curves. You'll tear it up at the auto X's!Past rides:
-1989 Honda Accord LX-first love, sold
-2000 Honda Prelude base-traded for the S
Present rides:
-1993 Honda Accord wagon LX-still going!
-2002 Honda S2000-white w/ red int.-No words to describe this little 4 banger!

The prices for cars like Prelude and Integra's are crazy around here in NYC. Pisses me off. I am only 18 years old, and I look like like 15 (which is bad when i try to buy cigarettes, but good when i use a student metrocard off a HS friend to go to college ) So dealers try to rip me off even more. And I cant haggle for my life.

Originally posted by Blue Honda GirlCheck out Preludeonline, wonderful info. I've never heard of peeps messing up the ATTS with boost? You can find base Preludes for cheaper than 11! You can find a decent 97 base for at least 4500-5k. The autos are even cheaper-well most I've seen, but you don't want that. Get a base. Everytime I went shopping for the Lude, I noticed they always say something next to the product: "for all model Preludes-except SH" SH is heavy too- 3050 lbs.
