I've noticed this more and more lately. and frankly I'm sick of it.
You guys KNOW the rules, well some n00bies don't yet, but the vast majarity of the people here do/should know them.

The point I'm getting to is I'm going to start handing out warnings to people whoreing up threads soon if it keeps up.

you have something to ask/tell another person that's off topic??
don't just post in the first thread you see them in. Try sending a private message or emailing that person. only if you can't get ahold of them by other means should you post a little off topic in a thread.

Don't just post to raise your post count. (bumping F/S threads allowed)
I see this all too often. off topic I'll allow a lol here a haha there, but other forums like tech and performence forums this needs to stop.

Remember we are the one and only, the best 4th gen site there is. lets keep it that way by posting like grown adults

I also completely agree. Post whoring and posting of useless topics should not be tolerated. Also posts that have no revelance to the topic should also be deleted.

That's the whole thing though... posts that have no relevance shouldn't be posted in the first place!!! The mods are all wearing their fingers out deleting all the crap that people post here.

Why does everyone have to do that? Yes, we KNOW VTECH makes phones. The jokes are more annoying than the typo! YES we have new members here. Who here was born knowing how to do an H22 swap? Who here didn't have the slightest bit of apprehension when you first removed something bolted to your motor or suspension? Who here was carried past their mother's knees for the first time with the knowledge of how an internet message board works!?! None of you.

When you see someone with a post count higher than 100 that is still posting noob-ish stuff, or misusing the board, then POLITELY tell them where they went wrong. Preferrably offering some assistance in the same post! If someone already told them, either help with their question or move to the next thread!




You guys can't see it. The mods can. I can see where AccordWarrior and pwrusr delete posts. There are often whole pages missing from threads because of all the crap they delete! ATX honestly wants us to fully delete the threads containing whoring, but that's not entirely fair to the original poster, who WASN'T whoring!

haha im jokin, but I completley agree with this thread. There are too many posters on this site that contribute hardly anything but wasted space and sigs. Instead of deleting the entire thread, is there a way to delete the whored posts within it?

Is there a way you can require noobs to read the important sticky threads before providing a membership? That would save alot of time and stress of linking noobs to stickies, and it will provide the site with more knowledgable people ( =a cleaner board)

eh... do the HT thing... limit them to 5 posts a day for 30 or so days... no FS forum posting ability til the trial user status is up and maybe a nice big bold "read the stickies and search before you post bitch!!!" screen before they can submit a post...
