    is this worth $250?

    my buddy is selling his rims, and this guy wants to trade him a turbo for them. he is only selling the rims for $250, and the guy wants to trade this turbo setup.

    what do you think, if it's worth it, i may just buy the rims from my buddy and trade the rims for the turbo. he said it fits 90-99 eclipse but could be modded.

    Um first thing first is make sure it's legit (about gettin the turbo) and then if and only if it is a full turbo set up (not just the turbo) then buy the rims and buy the turbo set up.

      well he says he would trade:
      turbo
      intake manifold,
      return lines,
      piping

      what else do i need?
      and could i actually mod it to fit my car?
      and he is local so i would check it out before i bought anything.

          Make sure you talk to the dude with the turbo and make sure the deal is ligit. Don't go by hear say. Somewhere down the line you are bound to get screwed. LIke I said before, if it's all good I would buy and sell the rims off, and get the turbo, try and pump some cash outta his ass too

            turbo setup for only 250, sounds sketchy to me, and unless you can do it yourself, its going to cost a lot for labor. I would just keep the rims (what kind are they by the way?).
