Monster Screwup?

So I'm watching Monster Garage, and they're making a drift car out of a Datsun Honeybee by putting a 350Z motor in. I thought it was pretty cool, and then I just watched them CUT THE STOCK SPRINGS TO LOWER THE CAR! What the hell?

They are just trying to cash in on the drift "craze," cut springs in any situation are a bad idea...

In that show they dont go for performance really, its about the look of the car. And IRL they probly just SHOWED that, but installed some lowering springs. They gotta make the people look like they can do things...? I dont know, im tired and rambling, BTW your PM box is/was full. What are you shipping the CAI with? Tracking #? Meh?

Eh, what I thought was bad was the fact that they painted that thing with those ugly huge black stripes. wtf..

dont they only have a fixed amount of money to spend? maybe they did that to cut costs.

Actually they did take it out and test it, and it worked okay. I don't think they put coilovers on it, it bounced around ALOT.

The paint job was horrible after the put the stripes on, before that it was cool.

They do NOT have a budget on that show, they spend TONS of cash. They can afford to, the show is popular.

BTW, PM box is now empty.

I saw that episode. they took a perfectly good new 350Z and ripped it apart. depressing to watch, really. i could use a new 350z.
