In Canada all cars newer than 1990+ have/must have DRL. I used to have it, and I hated it! So I pulled the fuse from under the hood, and no more DRL, but the dash light was on, so I pulled the interior DRL fuse. And now, no DRL, no dash light! I like the idea that I can turn all my lights OFF at night. Plus it burns out your highbeam bulbs faster. DRL sucks! I donno why all you Americans think it's so cool. I guess it's always like that... if you have curly hair you want it straight, and if you have straight hair you want it curly... HAH!
I have enough different light outputs without the bloody DRL.
Low beam - H4's on low coil
Medium beam - H4's on high coil
High beam - H7's (the lights close to the grill)
    ....and JDM fogs

I say, don't waste your time/money on DRL... useless! (Unless you're one of those people who always forgets to turn their lights on at night.)

PS. If someone can tell me where this 'DRL module' is, and I still have it, it's yours!

My CB7 is now ***FOR SALE***

i didnt have it on my 1990 lx.. it was setup so the lights were just on all the time witch is just stupid. but DRL dosent kill your high beam , i havent changed the bulbs at all in my car since i got it and they havent changed a bit.. and its good to have it when it rains or for snow like weather

Crayola-r, you say that your '90 LX didnt come with it?
So the DRL kit was aftermarket?
If so, how much did they charged you for installation...

Phat, i know this thread is a couple months old...and i kno that
since then you have gone thru a major exterior change.
Would you mind sharing some new DRL pics for us ?
