so i was driving through a ghetto parking lot in my escort hit a couple pot holes took some sharp tursn and then Ding ding ding a ling ding well anways the car just sits in drive and revs? i think its the drivers side cv joint, well anywasy i just left it thier and got a ride home so its chillin in the ghetto somewhere but anyways u think this is what it could be is cv joint? all of a sudden snapping under harsh driving? is this the right forum eh whateva i get it towed tomorrow ill take pictures

yeah def, CV joints(or axles) are easy to snap if your driving through huge potholes and other miscellanious crap. i have come close to snapping both cv axles, and joints....had them replaced in time tho, good luck

Do you mean ball joint? Did the wheel tilt over. I love those things, they broke on me twice.

i got it towed home today. yup where the axle goes into the wheel. that boots torn off and its snapped in half thier, drifting in an escort = bad
