caravan .. sounds too.. soccer mom. ANYWAYS. We have any people located where we wanna have the meet? I think it was Charlotte, NC? It can be a slow process now. I think that ~Decemberish we will start a list and routes. Hopefully we can have several different *cough* caravans *cough* that will be coming from different areas, FL, GA. North East, MI,and two from the middle area. By doing this, I KNOW that we can top 40 4th gens. Maybe there will even be a Microtel in that immediate area. I know the one in TN was really nice, and didnt seem to care that we had a few more people than we paid for in the room.

Haha.. who was with me in the parking lot of the Microtel on Sunday morning watching that old guy try to back his truck out of the parking space and successfully made it into a 30+ point turn. Too bad I didnt have my camera.. woulda made a great "how not to leave a parking spot" video.

If this meet can be made anytime after May 5th, 2006, I'm definalty down. I have finals up untill May 5th.. It'll be a couple hour drive, but that's no big deal, especially if we'd get a crapload of people to go.

Well, we cant accomodate everyone.. But since the majority of people that will show up are from the NE(NY, NJ etc), the Michigan area, the central US and of course us floridians.. I made it so that the drives are all about the same for everyone at the extreems. It is between 500-700 miles for people in areas like MI, NY, south florida, which aint bad, since from FL to nashville was 800+ miles, and even more for the NE region where the majority of the active members live. But I look forward to a great turnout even though its too soon to start counting. but this way, everyone has more than enough time to plan if they really want to come.

Bump it up. Its almost fall.. kinda Lets keep the hype up, and make the 06 meet better than the 05 meet. Im sure we can do it, and as long as we are the only meet going on in the Eastern US around that time, we can double the amount of last year. In NC, we should be able to get most of the people that came to the Nashville meet, and the ones that were up at the CT meet the following week. Maybe 2point6 could make it also... the one who inspired a majority of us that our cars could be something more than just a slow econo-sedan.

I think 07 should be much more central since us non-easterners cant easily make it. Or have another 06 meet. I dunno. I dont think Im alone when I say I feel left out.

Yeah, I know, but its really not feasable. We drive accords.. so most of us wouldnt have the extra time/money to drive halfway across the US. Closest thing would be to have an East and a West meet. That is the reason that I thought Charlotte would be a good place for the Easterners, since its in the middle of most of us on the East side. So hopefully we will be able to have the nashville and CT meet from last year combined this year in Charlotte.

                          So we'll see.

I'm with you dude. I'd be all for a more "central" meet as well. I always thought a good meet spot would be Marysville Ohio....why? come on, the birth place of most of these cars, not to mention its kind of centrally located. Just a thought....

Ohio would be a great place for an event. But guess what, only NE'ern people would be able to attend. I love driving, but dunno if I could even make it for that. Totally central would be somewhere around kansas or something.. try to get 50 cb7s to come to kansas.

Yeah Marysville is a good idea, but I plan on going there for the "Honda Homecoming" which is like a 3 day event and you can tour the plant and everything... My dad was saying they had a place where it was like they had one of every year accord there... not sure if thats exactly true or not...but it would be cool to see a MINT condition cb7........its July 28-30th.

but dont get me wrong... Im still definately up for the NC meet in 06!
