    sold my cb7 :(

Picked up the cb today from the shop. About 30minutes in I had to fix the shift linkage, got that fixed then it jumped timing (had the shop put on a dayco timing belt set). And the shop wouldn't fix there work so I gave up on it. After just spending $1300 at that shop I ended up trading for a 1998 ford explorer 2wd 5speed with 97k miles

Wtf you could have easily fixed it yourself. Gotta learn how to do your own work next time.

I do my own work. I went to Patrick Henry NASCAR tech and have worked in several shops. Blah blah lol But my work has started 7day work weeks 6-6:30 and having a 3 month old and that being my only car had no time at all to rebuild and install the motor. Plus I think it bent a valve because I done the old paper trick and it was sucking it up, and I decided it was time to call it a lost. After spending that much on a cb7 with a rebuilt title I decided it wasn't worth it. Plus to it was a coupe and I'm 6'2 so it was tight with a car seat

A g in is nothing! My alarm alone cost me $800 installed… you must just be a ford guy then. Lol
Have fun in that Fix Or Repair Daily. Lol:/ Everyone I've ever known that had one always had tranny problems, years ago when my dad owned one it could be fine for 2-3 weeks at a time and not start the next day after parking it for the night… no mechanic ever found the problem so it ended up in the scrap yard the last time it acted up.
4000watts just so all the haters hear me comin!

I feel like had you taken your time you could have fixed it. I foolishly dumped my best CB and a clean ass Maxima for similar reasons. O well u live and u learn and CBs are getting kind of silly old anyway.

800 on an alarm? Really why not just do a fuel kill switch
