Also, not too sure how much research you did into the airbag recall situation, but you will probably want to make sure your dealer knows about the owner change. Honda ultimately has no idea what cars are affected, and the expansions of the recall have affected the Civic of this generation, although it is sporadic at best which ones were affected (so far mine has not been).

Also, since yours is a 2009, they also just extended the Electronic Power Steering warranty to 100K on some or all of them because they were having early EPS motor failures. Just something to check out. I think that letter came from Honda about 2 months ago.

Other than that, I think most of the issues were gone by 2009, and mine has been pretty much flawless, so it should be pretty trouble free.

Just an update.

I really like this car. It does remind me a lot of my 1st CB. Been averaging about 27-28 MPG in mostly highway driving which is not right at all. I have to check my tire pressures. I also put on a CAI, which makes it a lot of fun. Sounds great.

My plans for this little thing are basically what I had on my 1st CB. Suspension (Koni STR.T + S. Techs), brakes (Legend/NSX 12.6" dual caliper kit to fit under my 16s), exhaust, HID retrofit and maybe wheels one day.

Only problem now is weak flaky A/C. But I don't have the time to take it to a dealership and shit is cooling down. Happy with the purchase though. I don't miss the Z. What I really want is a new bike
