So for those who don't know I had an 07 F150 before, got rid of it and got an 09 Titan. Best thing I ever did!

Very nice Rob.
So when are we lifting it and stuffing some real tires under it? Some 285s would look quite nice in there! Just giving you a hard time, it looks really nice. I couldn't imagine running a full size, but if I did, the quad cab would be the way to go. I like the Titan more than the Tundra from a looks standpoint.

No lifting or anything! My F150 had 285s on it, I like the smoothness of stock now. The F150 was my first non modified car minus the tires.
The quad cab is the only type of truck I will buy. It makes everything so much easier! All I have to do to this thing is tint the front windows and we will be good.

I never enjoy driving trucks, unless they're little car-like things. They are damn useful when you have to move big stuff, though!
I always wondered about the quality of the Titan. Are they built well? I know Nissan's quality has been slipping a bit as of late... then again, Ford was pretty weak a decade ago as well.

Congrats on the purchase!. Although, not having a heavy-duty job, I don't understand the appeal of full-size trucks newer than probably mid-1970s - they just don't look nice anymore. Though I wouldn't mind a 'mini truck' like a '90s Ranger/S10, Datsun 510, etc.
I test-drove a 2014 or so F150 with a friend and the interior was excellent... but a workhorse should not be that nice inside. Nice ride and [EcoBoost] engine, but no. On a related note, I absolutely LOVED being inside the new Explorer - comfy as a mofo, and it actually looked the part as well - but I still would never want to own such a large vehicle.

The new domestic vehicles are nice, like you said the new explorer is super nice and gets great gas mileage. BUT the thing with domestics is that you start adding in options and creature comforts and before you know it, you have a 50k vehicle? Why????????????????????????????????? You can get an Audi, Porsche or lexus for that much.H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

American trucks really are stepping it up in terms of interior quality, though. For years, trucks had ugly, bare-bones, strictly-business interiors. Great for full work trucks, but for people that want a truck for a daily driver, it was pretty lousy. That's one of the reasons I was never interested in a truck myself. The new ones, though... the pictures I've seen of the new Ram trucks look like the inside of a Chrysler 300!

Taking it away from trucks for a moment, to better illustrate the point... If Cadillac's ATS is truly on par with the BMW 3 Series, people would still be wary of paying the same price. The Cadillac would have to match the BMW in every way, yet be considerably cheaper... and then the lower price will make it seem to be the inferior car! American automakers dug themselves into a hole, for sure.
Of course, back to trucks... MOST people would agree that American trucks are still superior. Mainly because we make large trucks for a market that demands them. Other markets don't really have that level of demand for large trucks. Toyota and Nissan make those big trucks primarily for North America. I remember talking to Dutchaccord years ago, and he said that his father's construction company would import F150s for work use.
