I've uploaded a couple videos to YouTube on fog light installation. But I think this is an amazing idea. A lot of pictures can only do so much. Moving pictures with audio is even better

Videos are only good in some circumstances. They should be more of supplement to a written DIY.

I find it difficult to get the proper info out of a video on something technical. And if it is there, what a pain to scroll through a half hour + video to find it. Much easier to scroll up and down a forum page.

You don't pay attention to the liberals running this country. English is code for racist white people.

Cursive is now gone and they are teaching in Spanish not English in US schools. The way it is going in California, it is just going to get worse.

And oddly I think someone should broadcast it live on twitch. No kidding. I would do that then edit it out later. Almost like an interactive DIY should someone choose to do so.

It is scientifically proven that visuals (such as videos) greatly enhance the learning process, and are very valuable, especially when seeing it for the first time. Kind of like having someone demonstrate for you when that isn't practical.

There are certainly downsides to it (like having to scroll through to find specific information), but issues like that could be solved with chapters within the videos and other ways.

I have been thinking about it for years honestly, and have it all mapped out in my mind, but haven't had time to do it.

It would certainly be great for the forum though.

People learn in different ways. Some need steps. Some need a video. Some need to have hands-on experience to truly understand it. Some people just need to understand the basic concept.

It can't hurt to cover all the bases whenever possible.
