which gopro camera should I get?

I see that there's a few of em but I've heard some of them have defects is this true?

I haven't heard of any bad ones but I didn't read into them to much. I have a hero 3+ silver edition and my friend has an original gopro hero. They're both about the same imo except the 3+ that I have has wifi capability. It's pretty nice being able to start and stop recording right from my phone vs. Having to push the button on the camera. Also gives you a preview so you can get the angle you want instead of just hoping it's aimed where you want it.

Where would you get yours from? I hear they got em from another website which is the same thing. Not that they are fake I see people getting em from 80 bucks while they are in best buy for like 250 is this true? I thought of putting on the portable UAV.

I got mine off of ebay. Can't remember what I paid for it but it was less than retail, and it was still factory sealed when it got here.
