    IRA Anyone?

Well I finally made one of the hardest decisions in my life. I took the $3000 lined up for my H22 and car and put it into an IRA. After investigating my options I saw that this would be the better one. Has anyone else done this befor, if so when did you start putting money into it? I am only 18, but it would be cool to hear about some other stories, maybe from some of you sorry smo's that have a family . I know a bunch of older guys that have no life in their years because they didn't "stocK" money away. F that. I want to be the bitch in the Porsche some day.

    P.S. Will work for food

investing money or saving money that is always a good thing in my book. im actually a very impatient person so i went the route of CD accounts. return isnt as high as an IRA account but after the 6-12 months i can place it into a newer CD and split the money up according to my needs in the next few months. like if i need more money for school i dont put it back in, i just deposit into my bank account. but if i have enough money to last me, i just invest it all into the best CD account with highest intrest.

BUT PLAN WISELY!!!! good luck with your plans though.

good choice. but if you really want to make some quick cash, the stock market is your friend.

Yeah I work at a bank, don't know too much about IRA's but apparently a lot of people have them, CD's are good also but regarding the stock market, that's a little risky to do. Saving up money is always good bro, as far as the IRA you can do the research and check the rates with your bank, and continue to put in money. It might be bad to you now (damn, you could have gotten an h22) however in the long run you'll have more money to enjoy. But CD's are really good too.

it really all depends on how much you are willing to gamble, stock market, wroth ira and cds are all good choices but you must narrow it down. keep an eye on your portfolio as well
