It's just 56 grand bro! Come on...
In reality that's how it goes. That's why I don't owe on anything. If I can't pay cash I go with out it. Never owned a credit card, don't have any credit and I don't need it. And I own my house so I'm lucky there.
If I won the lottery, I would buy this car. It has over 700hp and runs 10s stock. Whats not to like!

Hellcat... that's an awesome name.
One for the shift light, others for the shifting performance and others for the traction control and last but not least gas control shock absorbers giving you the best control and comfort around a corner making it feel like a regular car when you want damn.

I like that they're making cars that offer massive power, good handling, and a good amount of luxury and styling. You no longer need to buy a pure sports car to get a sports car experience.
But yeah, I agree with the price still being out of the ballpark for most people. I have a few friends that are making near 6 figures, and even they won't waste their money on fancy cars. They still agonize over the purchase of a responsible $30,000 sedan or pickup truck.
Cars are expensive hobbies. If you look at a CB7... it's a $1500 car if you find a decent one. By the time you're done restoring it mechanically and cosmetically, and modifying it to be unique and perform well, you're probably looking at $15,000+
That's for a CHEAP car!
Cars in the $60,000+ range are for the moderately wealthy or thoroughly irresponsible. A $60,000 car loan will cost roughly $1000 a month for a 6 year loan at an interest rate of 5%.
That's TWELVE THOUSAND a year. Plus full coverage insurance on a premium/performance car worth far less than the borrowed amount the minute it rolls off the lot. Not to mention the cost to fuel and maintain the car.
Put it all together, and a person with no money down would probably be spending nearly $20,000/yr owning one of those cars. If you're making $40,000/yr (which is respectable...) you'll be spending a full half of your gross income on your car!

These cars are good for guys like us (those of us that aren't making bank... I know a few CB7tuners are doing quite well for themselves) because 1) They show that the car companies will continue to make impressive performance cars... they're not slowing. and 2) someday, we might be able to afford a used one (I got my 6 year old CTS-V for 20% of the original purchase price )

I'm a huge fan of the Hellcat. And to people calling it a pig all the SRTs handle well. They aren't just fast in a straight line. 15+ inch brake rotors and active suspension. The torque in those things are absolutely phenomenal. Such a fun car.'93 H22A 5SPD SE - MRT - DIY-Turbo Sizing

Of course someone would post something like that lol. But stock for sick the 392 will run faster lap times than the Evo.
I've actually driven and tracked a Hellcat. Its was incredibly fast and turned very well.'93 H22A 5SPD SE - MRT - DIY-Turbo Sizing

Pics or it didn't happen. I'm messing with ya.
And of course someone would post something like that! It's CB7tuner! Imports>Domestics.
EDIT... This thread is giving me flashbacks of when they reveled the Bugatti Veyron...Last edited by H311RA151N; 08-02-2014, 09:11 PM.

On another note, Domesticated is not just a user name, it's a nickname given to me years ago from all my import buddy's I raced with.'93 H22A 5SPD SE - MRT - DIY-Turbo Sizing
