But this car is in stock form without being modded there's a difference.

Trust me that cars has a clear title 56 k is not hard to obtain unless your broke. And I'm that certain that car you wouldn't even try to race if it breathed on you you'd be shook to run him.

Also, I wouldn't count out the import industry just yet considering the GT-R lays down 10.8 1/4 miles while being extremely impressive through the corners. Sometimes its not how much power you have, but how you put it down.
To be honest noones using the gtr like that to go in the corners with that amount of power in the mix. Sure the car handles nice its not even the driver that's driving with skill its the technology that gives them the handling. But that cornering your not going to be using that like that on the street let's be real. Even on the track roadcorse the porches will out handle the gtr. Most of the challenger drive train has a lot of viper mechanics out on it. Why didn't dodge just do this in the first place.

Dirtyrice the video of the skyline was nice it didn't really show anything on the specs of the gtr but those times wouldn't be up there if that car wasn't awd. The thing that gets me is that the power is being put down with that challenger hellcat. That hellcat is the devil.

Sounds like it will be a hell of a car but .... I keep hearing reliable yet the car hasn't come out yet. There is no way of knowing how reliable it will be if people drive the hell out of them. I will accept that it is a 700HP demon with a warranty but I wouldn't say it will be reliable just yet.

You can build a 700HP import and granny drive it all the time and it will be reliable the same goes for a high HP domestic but when people start beating on them is when we will know how reliable they are.

Something my father-in-law once told me and he built a tone of muscle cars in his day is "If you are going to drive it like a race car expect to be fixing something regularly, but if you take care of it and don't beat on it it will last you a lifetime."

Again it sounds like a hell of a car but I wouldn't call it reliable until people start beating on them. Car manufacturers are recalling cars by the millions these days so we will just have to wait and see.

I don't think so bro to be honest with you I think that's the last thing that the challenger would do. Remember the newer vehicles faced with new technology wouldn't want that kind of strike against them that they would have now than the earlier years. Remember quality not quantity especially from the top models in their line-up. Its different I have yet to see these vehicles especially dodge like that in the shop compared the imports. I'd definitely like to see how this turns out.

It will likely be no less reliable than the current CTS-V.

Most cars are over-engineered from the factory. Chances are, the Hellcat engine could take 1000hp and still survive. Companies don't want warranty claims, so they usually overbuild their performance cars a bit, knowing that their owners are going to be beating on them.

Plus, it may be a Dodge, but the parent company also owns Ferrari.

I didn't know we were talking about one car in specific. Most people with new cars don't own them outright, that was what I was referring to.

Ok, so can I borrow 56k?

I'm not broke, but I'm also not dumb enough to spend $56,000 on a new car. Any car. But that's just me.

I agree. $56,000 isn't a LOT of money when it comes to buying fancy cars. Still, it's a lot of money to spend if you don't have considerably disposable income to blow on luxuries.
If I'm only making $75,000/yr, I'm not going to spend $56,000 on a fairly impractical car, no matter how cool it may be.

My CTS-V was a $50k-something car when it was new. I got it for $16,000. $16,000 was a reasonable amount to spend for me. $50k+ would've been out of the question (which is why I didn't even consider a 2nd gen!) Could I have made the payments? Sure. But it would've been a strain, and should my income decrease (and it has since then), I would've been in trouble.

Hell no I'm not giving you 56 grand I don't know you if you own a house you can sign that over to me in interest if you can't pay it back in full I take your house how bout that? If you fail to pay but I have to appraise your house first to see its worth in value. Lol

That's the only thing I have against it. It's not a smart move for me to purchase along with any other car of the same price.

Cars are cool, it's my main hobby. But there are other priorities in life and for most people, this car is not even a possibility. But anyone will sure enjoy watching it annihilate a set of tires!
