Listen dude if you been there and done it like real enthusiasts okay but if not just hold that down man.
I agree, I've driven several cars and I feel more comfortable in my Accord. It's not for autoX, it's not for a lot of things. That's why it's called modification. I don't plan on winning anything, but I'm going out there for the fun of it. Gotta start somewhere.
Not using school as an excuse, I choose not to do anything to the car. Personal decision. My priorities were elsewhere.

Speak for yourself sir. We both have different priorities. Sometimes I think I put too much time into my passions and not enough with fam and friends.
Yes, there is no turning back. I may put that last part in my sig as it is very true.

And yes... we're all enthusiasts. It's in our blood. It's what keeps us coming back here, even those of us that have moved on from the CB platform. It won't leave us, even if we have other priorities.
I'm lucky to have found a girl that is into cars. She doesn't wrench or race, but she watches Top Gear, and drives a manual Cooper S. She thinks it's cool that I'm into cars, and doesn't think I'm being childish by spending money on modifications (or planning to buy a totally impractical sportscar.)

When I have money to blow, I'm getting a Lotus Elise. Less power than my H22A, and I'll be just fine with that

Nope didn't think so and its on a fwd car it will need slicks to put down any decent times and its still fwd that's not a good look. The SRT hellcat only needs drag radials to do a 10.8 let's be realistic with the numbers here the skyline is a thing of the past.
Shadow1 your still slow on it I can get any car imported just about including all of the skylines. You just have to have the money and the right connections remember this is America its a business. You'll never be able to deal with an srthellcan or a srt4 your shook bro step ya game up man. I'm no track star I'd could care less all I'm saying is this most events street or track I've been there, track time I've been there wrench time I've been there what have you done? If you've been there on both sides of imports or domestics OK if not you still got much to learn.
Weather its a course on the track you don't need HP to run on a track. The same amount of HP can be ran by any car in a corner the only thing you need is moderate throttle control and precision driving along with a suspension upgrade and most of all skill and your good. It doesn't take much for a skyline or awe that's made to take corners along with a skilled driver or not to do that again wake up your still sleeping.
The Skyline will never be a thing of the past.
The TSX may need slicks but it's still 700hp and can compare to the Hellcat in a straight line.
Stop talking about track time like you do nothing but do circuit tracks all the time. You're not a pro. So once again. Stop talking to people like you are.
The Hellcat isn't the End-all-of-cars. It's just another high HP car. It's nothing special.
And yeah. I'll say it. You saying you can get a Skyline is like the wannabes back in the day and even now saying they can get one to impress everyone. You're not impressing anyone. You're coming off like the douchebags that can and will buy that car.
You speak of it like you have one and/or can beat anyone out here. Since you got that SRT4 (if you still have it) you've become a douche on this board. If everyone needs to "step there game up", why you still hanging around up here so we're so far behind you. Your not the fastest thing on the planet. You're not better than anyone. Stop acting like it.
It's a Hellcat. A Challenger with a blown 700hp motor. There's nothing special about it except it has a blown 700hp motor. Just like Lotus Elise with that twin turbo V8 that can hit 250mph. It's not a new car. Just an existing car with a swap.

Yes, please stop. This is turning into a thread that needs to be closed. I would hate for new or potential members to be turned off by some of the arguments they would find reading through this thread.
