This is why I want to do an electric motor swap, but batteries suck. At least for now they do.

It's crazy how much torque they produce. I ran a friends eagletree datalogger and this thing is crazy powerful for it's size. It's about 1.4" in diameter and 2.7" long yet it produces 2397watts (3.22hp) and the truck weighs around 5.5-6lbs ready to run. That's nuts.

the problem i keep running into is the castle combo i have is rated for 5s and im stripping the hexes on 3s with 76 spur/ 28 pinion on 4.87" proline trenchers. i can only imagine what it would do on 5s. im thinking about getting a new set of rims and some spare MIP hexes and just jb weld them to the wheels, lol.

Every thing is is meshed. Its the torque. Its what happens when you put a 1/8th scale 4wd power system on a 1/10th scale 2wd, lol.

I thought you might like this, JDM92_accorn.

I snapped this video of a Traxxas exhibition during an intermission at the Sonoma Nationals. They were getting them 40+ feet in the air!
