No I meant the word "Spelt" is commonly used outside USA.
      "Apparently" they say "Spelled"

      Talk about complicated

A "Finished" project car is never finished until its been sold.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

Spelt is how it's pronounced here fairly often too. Though some of us are too smart to write it in text that way..............I pronounce it spelled though if I have had less than 6 beers.
I feel now I should remind us what we are discussing is, is the guy who made it official 300 years 200 years 100 years ago correct or how it is said now? Language evolves. Thus, if thee could expand upon how English will sound two generations from this point I shall give two pence. Otherwise you are not preaching anything extraordinarily useful. Ask a 5 year old to show you a pound sign on a phone. Now ask them to show you a hashtag. I don't like it either....
