93 SE sedan--keep, sell, or barter?

I've been tossing around the idea of selling my gold 93 Accord SE sedan but have also contemplated bartering work on my house/yard for it. I would prefer the $$, but I have about 3K into it, and I doubt I could get that amount it for it. I don't drive it often, but it's been great to have another car ready to go when the Del Sol craps out.

The people we use to do some yard work came out today and asked about trading work for the car, so that got me seriously thinking about what to do.

Not quite sure why I'm posting--guess I'm curious as to what other people would do in this situation, and what's been your own tipping point that enables you to let go of your car.

If you're wondering, it's mostly stock. Had all of this done within the last year and has only had about 1K miles put on it since:

    new timing belt
    new a/c belt
    new alternator belt
    new water pump
    new windshield
    new window tint
    new master cylinder
    new front tires
new brake calipers on the rear
retro fit for R-13 (or whatever the new stuff is), so blows cold a/c
    original Bose stereo
    new rear speakers
    212K miles

      There's one here: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=196676
The one I'm considering is the gold one (this was prior to the window tint).

I'd say keep it unless you really need the money. These cars are getting harder and harder to find in a clean condition. I bought my car last June after browsing Craigslist.

Original car from Houston that spent most of it's life in the South (Alabama , Louisiana) that ended up in Maine of all places.

Bought for $400, I try and keep it out of the winter elements but eh you can only do so much.

But if you were to sell it I'd KBB it just to see what it's actually worth.

Are you the original owner of both cars? No kids you can hand them down to?

The money would be nice, but I"m not desperate by any means. No kids to pass down to, but the person who wants it would give it to his son in college who has no transportation.

I should add that I do have another 93 SE sedan in arcadia green, so I would not be cb7less if the gold one goes. I think I am the 3rd owner of the gold car (person I bought it from says he bought it when it had 125K miles on it) and he put a little less than 100K on it. I"m the 2nd owner of the green SE and bought it in '94 with about 30K plus miles on it. It's got 320K on it now. I had originally bought the gold one as a parts car to to refurbish the green one, but ended up liking it so much that I ended up fixing it. One positive to letting it go would be less insurance to pay per month, and I could start sinking all my extra money into the green one.

I wish it wasn't so hard to let it go. If I wasn't emotionally attached it would be a little easier. Thanks for the help.

I know the feeling; it would be difficult to part with any of the four I have now. I even had trouble taking what was left of Emmy (93 EX coupe) to the scrap yard after getting broadsided. I flipped a 91 EX with 300k and parted out a 91 LX with 167k; those weren't too hard because that's what I bought them for.
