    How to spend $250,000 in one day.

    Okay, you're given $250,000 to spend any way you want on two conditions. You have to spend it all in 24 hours and whatever you buy, you have to keepit forever. In otherwords, no investments.

    Me personally, I'd get an insanely tricked out import, it wouldn't be a cb7 simply for the fact that I like diversity. Possibilities include Integra, Civic, RSX, WRX, and Evo. Then I'd get an M3 tricked out a good bit but not extreme for a daily driver. Then I'd likely get something like a viper SRT-10 just for bragging rights. The import and viper would see a lot of trailer time so I'd need a truck, most likely Ram Hemi. The Durango Hemi would be my SUV of choice but I don't know any more than "Hemi."

    Let's add it up (I'm guessing) Import - $75,000, M3 - $75,000, SRT-10 - $80,000, Ram - $40,000, Durango - $30,000. Total - $300,000. Fuck the viper and I'd spend the extra 30k on a shit load of guns (I'm a gun nut.)

    what about you

      i'd buy a house in the Phillipines. Real nice house, probably about a 200,000. in the Phillipines that would buy a fucking mansion. Then i would give it to my parents and let them retire in luxury. oh, and i would buy a freight for my dads Skyline GT-R so he could send it to the Phillipines from Japan. That would be about 6,000. 44,000 would go to buying my wife a car, probably a Protege 5 with a custom turbo setup and totally hooked up. Total would be around 30,000. then the last 14,000 would go to my cb7!!! WOOO HOOOO

      sorry, im so boring with my priorities

        The reason I didn't mention houses is because I would have a custom built house in the middle of nowhere with gun ranges everywhere and a security system that would make NASA cry topped off with a fully automated Quad-50 cal anti-aircraft gun mounted on a 360 degree turrent with thermal and night vision sighting ability. Again I'm a gun nut. The gun alone would cost $200,000 so my dream house isn't really applicable.

            What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

            You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

              cokinut = filipino too hah.

              seriously, I would put half that money into mutual funds and savings and then give the other half to my family (cousins and such) in P.I. that's bout it. I would rather be the humble type minus my NSX.

                    I would follow suit and buy property in PI, too (have relatives there)... You live like royalty with that amount of pesos in hand... I wouldn't mind being a slumlord... lol...

                    As far as vehicles, a fully decked out IS 300, NSX-R and a BMW M3 is good enough for me...

                    BTW- "aye nako" is roughly translated, "my child" or "young one"- in respect towards us (I'm called that, too)... It's like calling "old" peeps "Nana" (for the lady) or "Tata" (for the man), in that respect...

                    1/2 Flip here (Visayan)... Where's the food at??? Fish "Sabau" with rice is what I grew up with- leave me in a corner with this and I'm all 'G'... lol...

                        I'd fix up and pay off my house, and use the rest to buy a business (which I'll be doing within a year anyway... $250,000 would just make it so much easier!)

                        I figure that I would have a minimum of 10-20 grand left over, so I would most likely put that into my car... Paint job, proper engine building, turbo, suspension, in-dash DVD system... REALLY good car alarm

                        Oh yeah, I'd pave my driveway and build a garage too! After that, anything left over would go towards tools and stuff.

                          i thought the rules for the thread were no investing.
