    So proud

Some know my son has the 91 coupe and really has no real desire to do much with it except drive it to work. He says he has no time or interest in all my sites about Honda's. But last night his brake lights wouldn't go off and he calls me and says..I think by searching the sites..I figured out what was wrong..but made a temp fix it in the meantime. ......Him fix a car? No way! He has only helped me with the power steering and a few small things. So he breaks a plastic disposable razor and uses the handle to jam into a break pedal button. Now I have no idea what he is talking about but he is talking McGuyver!
I'm so proud he used search and wasn't a dweeb that keeps asking ...."Can you tell me....." So proud!
Sorry ..he won't be on this as he is still into raves, card games, girls (more action than anyone I know) and working with a big company, He works with a crew that "grows" Chinese hamster ovary cells for use in medicine for hemophiliacs. Hamster has been dead for about 10years.

      I can relate.

My oldest son recently became of age to drive all by himself. WoW, what a stressful thing as a parent. Sure you can relate.

Anyways, for a couple years now he has been wrenching on an ek civic. I dunno, not a hatch fan myself. But through this process, I've connected with my son in ways that words cannot describe.

His car is "dope" and all the kids love it. He has lots of friends and they all turn a wrench in my garage now. Its cool/weird being "that guy" but my knowledge and hobby keeps the kids foaming at the mouth over the shit I do all the time.

So basically i connect with my son through cars too and its awesome!

I do relate to your experiences. Joe and I HAD to be close because mom had MD and we both had to take care of her so much. We share in her passing.
Joe likes a lot of the stuff I like and we mostly know what each is thinking. I'm 57 he is 23 ..but we do things together...no Dodger game yet ...maybe very soon.
So I just saw his FB page and WOW..he typed almost the same stuff I did here about his fix...he even said Mcgyver!
