What kind of music do you listen to?

I'm a pretty young guy (18) and I listen to pretty much whatever is on the radio. But my phone mainly contains Lana Del Rey, Marina And The Diamonds, Lykke Li, and artist of genres of such. I have lots of Adventure club dubstep remixes of songs too. Basically I'm diverse but I'm curious to know what kind of music a majority of this forum listens to.

Haha same, love EDM. I say EDM because all the different genres are too confusing to name and classify so basically most electronic music I like. I like Lana Del Reys electronic remixes, she has a good voice for EDM just like Ellie Goulding. I also like Tiesto, Deadmau5, Kaskade, Zedd, Calvin Harris, Laidback Luke, Hardwell... I could go on literally forever. Gesaffelstein is also a funky guy I just started listening to.

I also like rock from softer stuff like The Fray, The Script, to more punky alternative, Rise Against, Rage Against The Machine, to harder stuff like Slipknot and Bullet For My Valentine. I even have a few Japanese rock songs.

I also like a bit of hip-hop/rap. My favorite is Childish Gambino. Also like The Game and Eminem.

Basically the opposite of OP, not much (if any) radio, top 40, pop hits for me.

For rock I would say the fray,, the killers,, imagine dragons,, Coldplay,, the strokes,, Interpol which is a popular band in Germany but not as much here. The usual good old rock ,, the eagles ,, Aerosmith,, air supply and bands like that.

For rap and hip hop right now only Kendrick Lamar and j cole are worth listening I think.

But house/dance is always my favorite when I'm not sure what to listen to.

+1 rep. I don't mind the newer stuff at all. Its not what I listen to the most but in the last 5 years country music has got really good while everything else has went to shit.
