Children are very annoying. At least pets don't talk.

The reason why this commercial is retarded has been mentioned already. And is noted in the comments on YouTube. It's the last line before mentioning of the product that finally got my attention.
The word disgusting may have thrown off some people, as it's not exactly an abortion in a dumpster disgusting.

Dumpster abortions mean you NEVER have to have parental controls on your tablet!

Technology is supposed to make our lives easier and more enjoyable. If you have your kids disciplined enough to the point that they obey the parental controls on the tablet, why is that a bad thing? Any parent that sets up these features and doesn't explain to their kid that they are law just as would be without them, then you've got some issues w/ parenting already.

Me either. That doesn't make this a bad thing though, does it? It's just another tool in the parenting arsenal. Perhaps it's not a good one, but I don't see how that makes it a bad one.

It's not bad... but it's just one more thing for parents to set and forget. Rather than actually parenting, setting limits for their kids and enforcing them personally, they're setting a timer on their kids' toys.

Might as well just program Rosie to wipe their asses and put them to bed, too!

Yeah, I suppose we're on the same page. I don't have any kids, so I'm kind of talking out of my ass here. Commercials are supposed to be perfect, so we should assume the parents aren't just setting and forgetting, right?
