The Z4 (or even a Z3) is kinda cool, and BMW is almost as impressive a brand as Porsche to the average person, but something about those cars just don't impress me. They're nice, but I don't get a sense of sportscar purity from them. Much like the Benz SLK.
Also, the mid-engine aspect of the Lotus and Boxster are a draw

The Supra is impressive, but falls in the same category as the NSX (and the price is damn near the same.) It's one of those cars that I want, but not in this particular daydream.
I told you look 50, lol.

Deev, if you do a Elise. Please do it in F1 colors. I will love you forever(no homo).

Green is one of my top choices. I don't think I'd want the yellow stripe, though.

Green with a black interior would be ideal.

            What, Supra? Yeah, very true.
But then it's just a slow, old-looking Toyota. It'll make tuner noobs look twice, but probably not anyone else! So, since it wouldn't impress me as the driver OR any random onlooker, what's the point?
If a Supra ever happens, it'll be a pristine turbo model. NSX would happen first, though.

I could have a Lexus SC300 or SC400 for far less than the Supra. Much the same car, with the same performance (or better) as the automatic N/A. PLUS it's a Lexus, rather than a Toyota... as far as the badge goes.

                EXACTLY!
Like my CTS-V, I'm looking for something that pretty much does what I want it to do with absolutely no mods whatsoever. The only thing I think I'd consider on an Elise would be a supercharger... and in my mind, that's still "stock"... basically, converting it to an Elise S.

if you get an elise, you only have two color options; British Racing Green, or Chrome Orange.

make sure you get the upgraded handling package also.

btw, if you want a PURE toy, get this:

                  $30k

Yeah... not that much of a toy! I'd get an 818 for half that price if that was the plan!

Are those the only color options for the older models (05-06)? Because there are 16 colors to choose from for the base Elise on the Lotus site (brand new, obviously)

                      Idk man.

Im not a big fan of the Lotusi? Lotus's?

I think their design is too "clutered". Too much going on, no overall workflow.
                      :P

I get why people like them, but i'd prefer a Porsche over them any day. As has been said, not a Boxster though.

                      911 man.

                      You can do it.

The factory offered more options, but those are the only two you should consider

818? you mean the factory five kit car?

                            Or the 944t-

So god damn sexy. Yes it's the poor mans Porsche, but it oozes 80's sex.

                            http://www.carsforsale.com/used_cars...44_179822950_2

Save a few bucks lol. I would rock the shit out of it. A little TLC, no mods necessary and you're in.

With the CTS-V and the fit/cb you're covered lol!

Idk about everyone here ,but a lot of us probably dreamed about this car as it was new when we were growing up.

Much like the cg series Accord resembles the NSX, this car's front resembles the front of the Testarossa.
