    Keep your head up, bud.
Yeah really good news. I couldn't believe it. Will be one of the best days of my life and strangely one of the hardest because she should've been there. But I will proudly get it for her. I'm happy I got to see her too. Last time I saw her I just kinda gave her a lackadaisical goodbye and it killed me so I really needed the time to talk to her and hug her and kiss her goodbye one last time. I appreciate it. Everything going on outside of it isn't helping but I'm trying man.

I grew up an only child raised by a single mom. She was my mom, dad, sister, everything. When I lost my mother at 23 to lung cancer (41 years of smoking), I lost my world and I was all alone. Also lost my grandmother a year after her, and my grandfather two years before her. Trust me, loss is unbearable.

But with the support of good people around you, I also learned that those who passed on wouldn't want you to suffer forever. They would want you to grow stronger and celebrate the good times of life and not the bad. I'm very sure that your sister would agree...

    Time heals all...
Yeah my mom has been a single mom for the better part of our lives. Funny enough those were the best memories I have as a family back when I lived with my mom, brother, and sister. I know she wouldn't want it but unfortunately doesn't make it any easier to go on about What's crazy is I was at Hobby Lobby today with some of my family and I saw something that reminded me of her and while I was picking it out this lady was next to me and asked what I was going to use it for. I said I didn't know but that it just reminded me of my sister and I told her what happened. She said she just lost her sister two months ago to some kind of bone cancer or something. Funny how things like that happen.

Thanks Richie. We all need it right now. It was pretty much a family reunion just under bad circumstances. My mom's side of the family hasn't seen my dad's since they were married back about 15 years ago I think. So it's been awhile but that's just how my sister was, always bringing people together.

So sorry to hear about the loss bud. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through.

Keep your chin up, and know that you WILL see her again.
