Therefore, human eyes work more efficiently with yellow light. However, normal car headlights include yellow light in their spectrum. This leads to yellow headlights having minimal benefits over normal colored headlights.

          WARNING!
This is one of the most ignorant and UNINFORMED posts I've ever come across on the internetz. =P Acura's have been coming from the factory, even stateside, with yellow fogs/highbeams since the 86 Legend IIRC. Vigor's, CL's, TL's & RL's all had them. So how did we RIP them off? Old school and even new school toyotas and lexus have them, its nothing new.

I honestly cant think of ONE oldschool euro car that came with them from the factory in the mid 80's. I think maybe old school Mercs had them, but nothing that is still on the road and running today that is worth mentioning.

true but just because you are new to a forum doesnt excuse the fact that many chassis have had them as original equipment since before they were born most likely =D

i like my Luminics yellow high beam bulbs but I wouldnt rock them on my fogs. They do have a function and prefer them over standard 4300 halogens.

That's right but thats more likely because he hadn't yet been educated about it.

The only reason I brought it up was because your title suggests that ALL Euro owners think this way.

Very true, it does seem that my position is biased, however it only takes one person to eff it up for everyone else.

If one person goes and shoots up an elementary school, all of a sudden guns are dangerous and all gun owner rights are threatened.

You seem so concerned over something so small.

Not to turn this into a gun debate thread but -

That statement makes your arguement void - the issue isn't the school, the issue is that guns are dangerous.

Either way, that isn't the point of this thread.

FYI almost no cars in Australia have yellow fog-lights.
only cars I have seen them on are my Cosmo which are a lense with a clear bulb behind them and silvia s13's apart from that I have never seen them,
I swear by them though they work brilliantly through extremely thick fog.

must be a design rule thing.
they should be on all cars.
I feel special with them on.

i wouldnt go so far as to say it voids my previous statement which is very much valid. you're correct, it's not about gun debate but more so of the underlying issue.

im simply using the analogy to explain how negligent/reckless gun owners make a bad name for all gun owners, just as ignorant tuners ( in this case on the E46 forum ) talking smack and going uncorrected by the rest of the forum portray the ignorance of the collective bunch.

Just like how people here refer to Non-JDM stuff as JDM and continue to do so . . .
The whole community doesn't think like that.
