    Clutch

If you are going relatively cheap on the muffler and ebay i'd suggest atleast a OBX forza or ws2 style they sound good with a cat for just an add on muffler.

To add boar hog makes a FM 40 type muffler is is around $40 on ebay.

    Your choice though.

That's a muffler not an exhaust. I just recommend that very obx style you linked above your post, but atleast he has a link now.

main reason is the 4 1/2 inch tip ... I dont want a coffe can sticking out the back so I i would like to keep it under a 3 inch tip and a low deep tone.

edit: just to be clear i dont mind the large tips, I have been there and done that. it's just not the look I am hoping to achieve in the end.

keep constructive criticism coming ... i am not set on the muffler yet i may go with like a flowmaster or something

              parts will be ordered tomorrow
Flowmaster is going to be loud since you are removing the cat.

Because of the bumper placement, you cant run an off the shelf muffler like those. You need create a fully custom exhaust because the aftermarket does not support the wagon, I take that back, the only company that sells off the shelf exhaust for a wagon is TAS auto.

The best way is to build something like this Mugen Ce1 exhaust, notice how the hangers are. To hang a big muffler to line up is not going to be fun or look right.

The way you want to do it.

Mugen Ce1 Exhaust. Flowmaster makes a muffler like that, I think its an 80 series. I am going to build something thing similar, add a nice res in the mid pipe.

Heres a Fujitsubo for a CE1. Just give you another thought for a muffler choice.

Notice where the hangers are, and where the exhaust is exiting.

Heres an Ebay cat back exhaust off a sedan on a wagon.
It doesnt look right at all.

Yeah I know better than to try to use a coupe or sedan exhaust on a wagon. Which is actually what I am aiming to fix. The previous owner used a stock sedan exhaust on it and it has been like that since I got it. I ended up going with a pacesetter header, magnaflow universal cat, and a flowmaster 40 series. I am going to have my buddy lay the pipes and muffler so that it exits properly.

For the suspension I missed out on the F&Fs I was planning on getting so I ended up getting MeganRacing EZ Street series coilovers.

I did get the Exedy clutch kit.

I decided to pass on the intake until I could get one I actually wanted.

Once I get all of this finished I will be selling the 91 cadillac deville that my wife was driving and getting a new windshield and depending on whether my buddy jacob still has those wagon doors or not I will be getting the fenders, doors, and hood changed out ...

Might take me a while but I think I am going to keep the wagon even after I get a new car and continue to work on it. I have never stuck a project out. I always end up hitting a comfortable but far from perfect place and selling it.
