I saw this one on TV last night, I think it was called Tech Toys or something like that. I'm not one to spend real money on anything fashion related, but if I had $250,000 sitting around I'd want one:
i could never justify buying a watch for more than like $40. if i had to. i mean my cell phone tells the time and doesnt look as complicated or ugly as those. watches not my thing though. just saying.
Definitely, I'm usually the same way. I give my sister such a hard time for getting an iPad, when she's already got a cell phone (happens to be iPhone, and smart phones annoy me anyway) and a lap top. I just think it's cool how that watch displays the inner workings, especially since everything's inverted from how a normal watch works. I used to wear a watch, but it was more of a hassle than anything. I can appreciate a nice one, though.
The thing is, this is the rarest of the rare watches in the world. There's only a handful of people who can develop something of this magnitude. Whoever created this master, I want to express my support because...
It's like buying an Enzo. It's so rare, yet so sophisticated in every way possible. So unique and creative. Honestly, I've never seen an Enzo on the street, but if I did, I'd be honored to see someones master piece at work. I'm very creative just as the designer of the Enzo, the Gyrotourbillon, etc. One day, seriously, I'll invent something as powerful as those items. I don't know what I'll create yet, but I hope supporters feel the same way I do.
Just think, how hard is it to develop a watch that can accurately follow a parameter of the world that is constantly ongoing forever, and has been for 4.5 billion years? Just look at the complexity.
I wouldn't want anything more expensive than an Omega. They made the watch that was worn on the Moon in 1969 for NASA. Its now also the official watch of 007.
The one I want is:
Regardless, that first watch you posted looks pretty awsome I must admit.

I've never heard of Cabestan until you posted that. Very creative an intuitive. I have to do some reading to learn about them. They did make a tourbillon, though. It seems like since the first tourbillon was created, everyone wanted to show that they could do it. That's another reason why I like Girard-Perregaux, Audemars Piguet, and so many others even though Breguet was the first with the breakthrough.
I'm pretty sure if I buy a watch like that, my money will be taking good care of me. Care like that, I ever doubt I'll beat off again. Why beat off, when I can have my wife or some woman in my life handle that?
wed3k, get your mind and money right!
bobbycos, that watch automatically brings the type of company to handle that, so no worries.
