it seems unfair, but in reality that's the only way the world/government will work

power is tried to be distributed evenly..but you'll never get a perfect system..nothing is perfect

someone has to lead and people have to be under one law...if you look at the past you'll see why

it's like saying wealth should be distributed evenly...world cannot work that way...and even if everyone in the world was given 100k each, i garauntee it won't stay that way after 1 month

what works is what works. you cannot base decisions for society based on morals. there is a reason why church should be separated from government (even though it's not)

the claims you are basing your thoughts on are from your morals and beliefs. That is wrong in itself

I agree with all you said except one thing. (very unlikely that a group of people will all fuck up something together....) The senate is a perfect example of a group of people fucking things up for everyone. As for the rule #2 I also totally agree with that, but at the same token we can't get politicians to give us a straight answer for anything anyway.. On the other hand I really enjoy reading your posts dude, everything you say is so balanced and makes perfect sense. Everytime I read your posts, i'm like wow, I totally agree. lmao.

I agree, government is a crock. I think the best form of government is communism. But of course it would only work in a perfect world, a world of course we don't live in. Really I think some point in time, people became so stupid and ignorant, instead of going off moral values and beliefs some idiot decided that we need a set of rules. A set of rules of course implying that religion be established. And eventually during the middle ages we see Kingdoms become dominant. My point is, people don't need to be governed. As a natural thinking process, we as human beings know whats wrong or right, there doesn't need to be someone there to enforce it. We don't need the 10 commandments, these are things every individual on Earth does without a need to be reminded of. If you don't be respectful guess what happens, you get ur ass kicked. There is no need for a government in my opinion.

what does allowing odd numbered groups of people to make rules, decisions, etc have to do with my beliefs.....that's my point, one person can't be trusted to always do what's best, so you get others to balance it out......very unlikely that a group of people will all fuck up something together....my morals have nothing to do with it, not really sure if you understand what you typed, my WHOLE point is that people balance people out....my wife balances me out......what do you mean exactly though about the last sentence you typed...my belief that one person can become corrupt with power isn't a statement that can not be backed up by tons of history......

because you stated making 53% of the people happy (and 47% unhappy) is not success

if you have an odd number of people...say a 13 man jury, 6 votes one way 7 votes the other...then you are ignoring your primary argument that a majority ruling isn't fair...imo having an odd number of people to make decisions just ensures there won't be a tie (which doesn't exactly make it fair...it makes it fast)....if 12 men were in a jury, 6 voted one way and 6 voted the other...shit starts flying and everyone starts arguing until one person decides to change their minds and nothing gets done

by me saying you are basing your argument on morals is because you want fairness...when fairness isn't always what works best unfortanately

systems have always been based on majority...because you'd rather have 7 people happy and 6 mad rather than 7 mad and 6 happy right =)
