Better than regular ramps (as you can't drive on those in a lowered car)
But COMPLETELY pointless. What is he going to do under there? Change oil? Put a new exhaust on? That's pretty much (Im exaggerating a little) all you can do with the wheels still on the car.
I would rather build "low profile" ramps out of wood for oil changes as it would be a lot less work - you just drive on top, no need to even bring out the jack.Last edited by rexload; 12-15-2012, 10:08 AM.

My neighbor has a set about 20 ft long (long triangle) that raise the car at least a foot at the high end. I think it is the only way he can change the oil in his Corvette. I know he's used them for an engine swap, but he didn't have to remove the wheels (69 Camaro). Biggest problem is storing them if you don't have a large garage.
I borrowed them once to load a piano into my van.90 LX 4dr 5 spd 396,014 (sold 1/1/2022) - MRT: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=201450
