how would you use these for a swap?in order to even get the motor out you woyld have to take tire off and separate the spring fork, separate spindle from lower control arm and take axel out.now if you had just jack stands you woul just sit the ball joint back in and leave it alone,go on to the next thing.but with these you would have to lay a stand down set the car on the stand take tire off do as stated above then but it all back together with no axel.so in theory you are doing 2 times the work in 2x amount of time when you probably could have the car up and axels out in half time it takes to use these.

Better than regular ramps (as you can't drive on those in a lowered car)

But COMPLETELY pointless. What is he going to do under there? Change oil? Put a new exhaust on? That's pretty much (Im exaggerating a little) all you can do with the wheels still on the car.

I would rather build "low profile" ramps out of wood for oil changes as it would be a lot less work - you just drive on top, no need to even bring out the jack.

My neighbor has a set about 20 ft long (long triangle) that raise the car at least a foot at the high end. I think it is the only way he can change the oil in his Corvette. I know he's used them for an engine swap, but he didn't have to remove the wheels (69 Camaro). Biggest problem is storing them if you don't have a large garage.

I borrowed them once to load a piano into my van.
