                  hre's are not cheap wheels, and generally look good on any ride- i haven't seen a set of hre's that looked bad on any car... but then again, the cars are usually luxury cars or exotics!

                  considering you custom order them (unless of course you buy a used set, or a set that's already made), you can get a more aggressive offset and width than the standard "cookie cutter" rims. and of course the wider the wheels, the more expensive the tires get. so, they're definitely an investment.

                  i wouldn't just throw a set of hre's on a bimmer and call it a day... just like any other car, if the stance isn't right, the rims will look like crap.
