It says no accidents reported for my CTS-V... I know there's an accident reported, because I reported it. A police report was filed (sitting in front of me), an insurance claim was filed (dealing with that headache today...), and the repair estimate was made (also sitting in front of me.) It also lists my 2006 as having a 5.7L V8... an engine that stopped going into the CTS-V in favor of the 6.0L V8 in 2006.

So essentially... this seems to be quite inaccurate.

For those doing a motor swap, run the VIN on the motor and make sure the car it came from was never listed stolen!

                        BTW Thanks for the link.

This site doesn't seem to work for me. Always said: "invalid characters, please input again" or something to that extent. It could be my browser/OS (Google Chrome, Debian Linux), and the website is just a piece of junk.

It sounds like the accident was fairly recent. Give it some time and check again.

                            9/29/12.
I could've easily repaired and sold the car in 6 weeks... with a "clean" history.
