So weird. The only thing that I have different is that I don't have the Eternal sound driver...

Right now I'm working on the PSP. I upgraded to the newest firmware, and then softmodded it. Dirt simple. Download, pop it on the memory stick, run the program. Done. Easier than an iPhone jailbreak.

Now I'm loading the FF8 file on there. Taking FOREVER, because it's freakin' huge... I'm anxious to see if it works! If so, I'm set!
I still wouldn't mind getting the emulators up and going on my PC again, but I can live with playing on the PSP. I'll be sacrificing some of the perks of computer emulation for portability. FF7-9 in my pocket would be pretty badass.

        Success! With the PSP, anyway.

Thanks for the idea, wildBill83. I never would've even thought of the PSP!

No problem, sometimes being ubernerd pays off. Glad you got it working, the PSXscene has made it point and click simple. What do you expect from a bunch of script kiddies anyway lol.

I run irShell on my psp and use it as a tv remote as well, 1001 has ir transmitter in it.

I used to do that years ago with my old compaq ipaq!
I've downgraded from ubernerd to regular nerd.
