Winter Gas sucks

not sure if this is technical of off topic but i wanted to ask if there are any additives to get me some better gas mileage because the winter blend is hitting my gas mileage hard. im getting at least 16 mpg. as before i was getting 21 ish.

I seem to get the same sort of mileage year round. I'd only lose any from excessive idling.

Fix your car? I don't think gas is the problem. With my H22A and the same trans as you plus a few power adders I get about 375-450 miles on a tank of gas hitting VTEC at least once a day. Around 30MPG. And I also don't have an issue with winter gas. You should be getting 30+ with a healthy F22 auto I believe.

I have a stock f22a6 auto with just an aem intake and I get like 260 275 a tank even after changing o2 sensor and a new fuel filter.

wel the 21 seems reasonable for all my driving in a day totaling to about 8 miles with NO high way time at all. When i drove accross country i was getting about 34 mpg. I almost never go on the freeway anymore. Ever since the gas stations converted to winter blend my mileage went down. I know the gas gauged is not all that accurate but i get 150 miles on the dot when it reaches a half tank. and that happened every time. now its at 100 and i have noticed the gas gauge falling a lot faster than it normally does.

Shouldn't a healthy F22 auto get better mileage than an H22? Two of my friends who have stock F22 autos get around 35MPG.

which o2 sensor? idk if its bad but i want to change it

I hit about 300 at the half tank mark. My gauge reads a half tank at 9.5/14.5 gallons so the second half the tank is about 5 gallons.

Yah mine too mostly city. To work and home and around with friends we usually take my car cuz I gots beats. So yah didn't think of that as a factor.

Edit: On a 92 it's downstream after the y on the down pipe.

One thing I dodd notice on thursday I filled up at a shell my light hadn't gone on yet but I filled up. And the receipt said I bought 13.xx gallons. Now I had .25¢ off per gallon. I'm not sure if it seems fishy to anyone else but I know I shouldve had more than a gallon left in my tank before I started filling. Like maybe they tried to charge me more because I had a discount?? My needle wasn't at the line yet.
