So when someone buys a plug in type of rechargeable car, in the owner's home, do they have to have some kind of special outlet installed for charge the car? I swore all the home outlets were only 120 volts or something.

yeah you need to specifically install a 240 v or 208/240V setup in your home. My company gives you a free Level 2 240V charger with installation if you sign up with their EV Project online.

Screw the PHEV, I'm more interested in the 278HP 3.5L V6 (which now has VCM AND proper VTEC) that's rated at 34mpg...that's 4-cylinder territory!

doesn't VCM reduce output by ~30 ft-lbs of torque and kills HP as well? At least that's how it happened for the 8th Gen automatics.

The ONLY accord I would be interested in would be the 6-6 Coupe

That's what's so cool about the new one. It has VTEC (proper VTEC) AND VCM. Hence my note above.

The interior is a HUGE upgrade in luxury from before it looks like:

I like how it'll be able to get 34 hwy, just wish the V6 were direct injected, that'd be my only gripe. But either way, by early next year, I'll hopefully upgrade to one of those after 9 yrs of ownership of the CB7.

I bashed the new Accord at first, but I must say, that interior is looking fantastic

I hate when car companies make the hybrid version look so much different than the regular version.. Ill take a normal looking hybrid with one badge.
