Bob, you are the man! Thank you!
I got my old hoist for $50, and it's a big heavy duty beast. The ram is shot, so i was just going to buy a brand new cheapie hoist for like $150... but their rams are only about $40! Last time I looked, those suckers were over $100 from other sources, plus shipping (no local shop seems to carry them...) Wasn't worth the money then.

I got that exact multimeter during a store opening event...I think it was either free or less than $3.

I'm thinking about buying a Harbor Freight air compressor. Anyone have any experience with any of their brands? They seem to be half the price of Craftsman (which is realistically 1/3 the price of a serious IR unit) but the reviews on the Harbor Freight seem decent compared to their Sears counterparts.

For under $200 for a compressor and accessories and then whatever a budget impact gun goes for....not a bad setup for an occasional wrencher.

wifey bought some rechargeable batteries (AA size) and grabbed the fly swatter and i bought some solderless connectors and got the tarp !!

mike, you are very welcome for the info ! I also like the prices of the engine stands too !!

AccordWarrior, a member of my Vega club has a Harbor Freight air compressor and for the occasional use he puts it through , he is happy with it.

the wife wants to go back to get some dust masks and gloves !!
