The sad thing is that someone will buy that car brand new, not knowing it was sitting on blocks. It may not be a big deal... but who knows if that tweaked the frame.

Dealers don't really show carfax reports for new cars do they, i mean would something like this even show up on a report?

          This guy speaks the truth.

Its not about pit stop people, or pit crews or anything like that.

These groups of people pull rims off 10+ cars in a night, then move onto the next town. 6 guys, 5-6 grand in what, 2-3 hours?

Isn't obvious why people do this kind of shit? With cordless impact and a regular jack 2 guys do this in 3-4 minutes.

Dealers repair cars all the time without reporting it. Sometimes they arrive from the port with dents/scrapes and the dealers paint them! I had a friend that owned a dealership and he could run the vin on a car from another lot and tell if it had been touched up.

damn thieves. We've had a couple used car dealers go out of business due to thievery around here but I'd never heard of a new car dealer being hit.

                1. the car isnt lowered

                2. it takes about 10 seconds or less for a quick pump get the wheels off the ground.

                3. takes less than 15 seconds to remove 5 lug nuts off wheels with proper cordless impacts

                4. they're not putting new wheels or tires in.

Well after seeing that I remember about the post that was made about the mugen. Then I remember in that same post I had posted they have done the same with the evoX rims from the Mr evo X. I think that some dealerships do this to mark up the loss becuase it's no real serious loss to them it's actually a write-off.

Vossen Rims just got robbed not too long ago (bout a week ago) someone stole THOUSANDS of dollars worth of merchandise. Enough to set Vossen back. So seeing a car get its rims stolen off of the lot does not surprise me in the least, when rim manufactures are getting their warehouses broken in to and robbed.

One of the workers there told me that the same thing happened in the area where we were at.. they would open the trunks of the cars use their jacks, and take the wheels, leavin the jack there, or on the rotors. It was on ford trucks.

Now further down is a honda dealer.. and idk y the dealer keeps the battery in the cars, but some 1 took a new car without the key, had a joy ride, crashed, and that was it.
