I saw Gilbert live last year. My friend opened for him. Honestly... he was terrible. I barely laughed at his entire set. There was one joke he told about a boy telling his father about his first blowjob. The punchline was something like "yeah, but I didn't care for the taste". It's a tired joke, and nobody really laughed. Gilbert's spin on it was to say "Because of the CUM! He ate the CUM! He was the one sucking dick, and he ate the CUM!"... basically, it was just him yelling "CUM!" for about 30 seconds.

My friend, on the other hand... Dave Primiano. He's funny as shit. He had about 10 minutes on stage before Gilbert, and I laughed the entire 10 minutes. If the dude can get heard by the right people, he's going somewhere.
