wow bro this sucks.same thing happened to me and my wife when we lived on kensington street.we had steel doors but wood frames.they used some sort of big pry bar and ripped the door from the frames.stole everything.no mind you i used to work for a gameing company to play and report bugs on games. i had everything from high tec computer to all the latest consoles.which i had to buy in order to work.they stole it all everything all my wifes jewelry all my stuff.even my bed sheets.....after that i got a dog,a pit bull from my bro and trained her.now no one not even people she knows is alowed in the house except for me and my family o and jaber cb7 with out my or wifes ok .

My dog was at my moms house for the week because I was out of town for work. There is always a car in the driveway whether it be the CB7 or my work car. Neighbors didn't see anything either. I'm thinking this took place at night as they closed ALL the shades and even turned off the outside lights.

Since they did take old cell phones, I'll give the detective the numbers on those, but I don't have anything else

One thing I HIGHLY SUGGEST TO EVERYONE HERE...Write down ALL serial numbers for your shit...spend a full day doing it, hell make it a fun day with beer. Put those numbers in a safe place AND store them online somewhere.

I was planning on selling the house in a while anyway since I just finished remodeling the kitchen, but that "while" might end up as a "soon". I'm over this shit. The insurance claim rep I talked too was rude, so I think I'm going to complain about her.

The cops think the car was left behind because the dumbasses didn't know how to drive stick or that you need to push the clutch in to start it.

damn dude, that sucks. i know exactly how you feel. we came home one day to find someone broke into my house as well. my stupid fucking step dad told one of his buddies that we were going to be out of town for the day not realizing who he was talking to STUPID FUCK. we come home and find the FRONT DOOR open it was my mom, brother, step dad and me. so the men went inside first to check it out. we called the cops. i don't know what they did to my refrigerator but they broke it. now i don't know why but they didn't steal any tv's, computers or anything just money, and a couple things that were my moms that were her parents things before that so they held sentemental value. we never got those things back. 3 days after they broke in they came back for my car. they took the spare keys and we didn't realize it. my step dad came in to me and asked me where my car was and i was like "it should be in the driveway!" walk out and it's fucking gone. they dogged the shit out of it! i was pissed. that car eventually went to the crusher because of how he drove it. my grandmother was on her death bed and that was her car. so my uncle let us borrow his .38 special. my mom took us to the firing range so i knew how to fire it.

I really hope they catch the assholes who stole your stuff and you get your stuff back! Good luck bro!

Good news (if you can call it that) is that I found the serial numbers for my PS3 and TV. That may lead to something if they ended up in a pawn shop. I'm also going to swing by Lowes to see if they can pull up all my purchases where I gave a phone number. Hopefully, they can and I can get some serial numbers for the power tools. The computer is tricky because I built it myself. Would calling Microsoft with my Windows 7 key and reporting it stolen help? That may result in an IP address eventually.

On a personal note, since those worthless small balled fuckers touched my clothes, I'm washing ALL my clothes, ALL my sheets, and scrubbing everything with cleaner. Sounds crazy I know, but it makes me feel better.

That's f'ed up, and it's bad that I had to hear about the happening to another member/person.

My first though was/is that someone was looking for something in particular. If not that, then some thieves decided to go shopping, and it's a good chance you weren't a random target. It could either be someone you know, know of you and are jealous, or someone who's been watching you for a while. A vast majority of times, crimes like this are committed by someone fairly close to you.

Adt offers wifi camera setup, to your cell phone, computer w/e. You can even turn the lights on and off. Open garage door adjust the lighting.. have 2 pay to play with anything..

Last year home break in's were at a all time high, now you have to start over. Most things were material and can be replaced, but dam u have to invest that much more in gettin them back. Ahhh ain there light or anything around your house, a street light something.. I hate when crimes like this happen and not 1 person see's it.
