I just acquired a 1998 CRV with leather. Thinking about going this route. Found the grill & fb.

There are only a couple SUVs I think are cool enough to own, but on the whole I just don't understand the point of their existence.

And that bumper is hideous imo. If I had a first-gen CRV it would go one of two routes (Forester used because it's just easier to find pics of them modified ):

              I would do:
              - 100% stock on the outside including stock wheels
              - ~1" drop on quality suspension
              - fully built turbo b20vtec and manual trans swap if it is auto
              and call it a day

I'm assuming 1st gens come with 5 speed trans, wht about 4wd?

There's a dude in my city who has a dc teg with this motor in it.

B20vtec I've heard puts out some pretty dam good numbers.

Sometimes Mugen doesnt get it quite right. Looks kinda funny. Ive always wanted a jswap 1st gen crv sitting as low as possible on 17" Volk CE28s. That would work for me.

The bumper on Mugen CRV, just a bit too much.
Green CRV just need a nice lift to pull it off.
I'll take a late 80s-early 90s Toyota 4wd over CRV any day for off road.
Wish Honda make some real 4wd, not that I know of.

umm, id take a toyota 4x4 over most things for wheeling except a newer rubicon.

my yota with a 5vzfe can spin both 33" tires on pavement with stock gears. i needed lockers, gears and a better clutch and i would be able to wheel anything.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.
