people don't trade useless junk for boats or fully built drag cars left and right
Yes they do. You be surprised, play toys, like say a boat. If someone isn't using it, what's the point of having it tagged and insured? And if it's not tagged, it's not operable. If you don't do the maintance on it, it goes down hill... Quickly, and a fiberglass boat with a blown motor is worthless, a scrap yard won't even take it, it's not metal. And they are pretty expensive to operate anyway. A lot of people buy boats because some one eles has one, and they don't realize the cost involve to own and run one. And if you don't live right by the lake, then your not going to use it all the time. It cost us $100 to get out boat at the lake for a day. They burn gas, and lots of it... And the truck to pull it to the lake gets bad gas mileage while pulling it. Same with a drag car, if you don't use it, there's a very limited market for people who want a car you can't drive daily or on the street. Atv's ate the same way. If you can't ride it at the house, you got to lug it somewhere. And a lot of these purchase are made by people to spend time with there kids. So when they get old enought to drive or go to college. A few year old atv for a $1000 new lap top works. A $2500 daily driver for their 16 year old, is ok by them for a $10,000 boat they haven't used in a year or two. Bagged trucks are the best. People put a ton of money in them, then realize they hate working on them all the time... So a good daily is easy to trade, and if you can find someone who can't build one, a easy sell. Cars get traded all the time.. If you don't mind waiting a bit, and saying no to a few offers, you can always come out ahead... Don't believe me check out Mautofied. Com and see some of the shit on there. Not as good as it use to be, but I've traded 53 car through there in 3 years
