I've been hit before, I'm talking about, she squared up, got in a fighting stance, drew back and started punching me. She hit me in the face, then the chest, I was blocking myself at first, then I put my arms down and she kept punching me, she was a big bitch too (6 foot, 200 pounds) when she stopped punching me, I looked at her and said "are you done", bad choice of words... she kept punching me. When she stopped, I told her, "you hit like a bitch" so she slapped me in the face. I never once raised my hand to her, even though I wanted to. I could have dropped her where she stood.

I think if a guy and a girl are in a relationship and he hits her, it's a cowardly thing to do. If she stays and he continues to hit her, even though it's not right, she deserves it. If she's dumb enough to stay, I'm sorry, but she deserves it.

Breaking a girl's face is in NO way showing you love/care about her, I don't care what she says.

I fully agree that there is no reason to hit a lady. If some crazy lady is trying to hurt you, she isn't worth your time. Walk away or do what you have to so that you can leave the situation.
