I've been a metal gear fan since I played the first playstation game. I've had mgs4 for about a year and just got around to playing thru it a few weeks ago. It was great. Immediately after beating it I looked up what would be the next game coming out. Finding this and other videos on it, I'm not too stoked about this release. Kinda strays a little too far off of what made this a great series. That being said, I will probably rent it and give it a shot. The sword work in it looks like it could be fun.

I trust Hideo Kojima's vision, based on his track record. That said, this looks.............questionable.

I actually downloaded the original a few months ago for my PS3. Took me way back. I don't think they could top that one. If I remember right it was the first ever two disc game for PS1. Shit took me almost 30 hours of gameplay back in the day to beat it the first time (no memory card, had to leave the console on lol).

I've played all the other ones too but nothing compares to the first. Kind of like Silent Hill . I'll probably rent this one though just to check it out.
