PA car with no rear quarter rust? No pinstripe (most seem to have it... not sure if that was an option or not... but I rarely see them without)...

Something makes me wonder if it hasn't been repaired and resprayed. Well, but possibly resprayed. And yes, I see a number of blemishes on it. It IS a clean car, but it's not perfect. Regardless of low mileage, it's still 20 years old! Sometimes I wonder if it's not better to have a car that's regularly driven, than one that has low mileage and might be rotting due to lack of use?

Perhaps not. It all depends on if the pinstripe was an option or not. If it was an optional dealer installed item, then I'll believe it was stock. If all came with it, then it was removed, and likely done when the car was repainted.

I would bet that car has rust on it, I'm sure you'd have to hunt for it. Probably forming underneath the seam sealer or inside the chassis somewhere. I seem to never believe anyone when the say their 90's honda has absolutely no rust!

I took the pin stripe off mine but it had 300k

I think its better to own a car thats been maintained vs a car thats low mileage. Cause a lowmileage car thats been sitting up with gas in the tank is going to ruined your fuel system. Or with brake fluid in the lines will just rott them out. Really it will.

Most pinstripes are dealer installed. When I worked in recon (detailing) depts in dealerships, while cleaning a new car for delivery we'd lay a pinstripe on in 5 mins if a customer requested one. Not a very popular request these days, but very popular in the early 90's.

But that requires going to reading PA, probably one of the most awful places ever.
