Project Car Choices

I find it strange that your indecisive about what car you want to modify.

buy someone elses project and fine tune it.

slowly building a car peice by peice is fun and all but you have to really like it to invest that much time and money.

On the first page, I was simply asking for advice. I don't plan on keeping this car forever. Since I have been in college for a good part of 5 years now, I never had a chance to really ever build a car. Now that I am graduating, I am looking for something to work on.

Things that I wanted was a car that was fun and at the same time budget friendly. I'm pretty much open to all projects as long as the information is out there for me to learn.

Honestly, if a vw golf at the right price came along before a miata, mr2, or w/e... then I may even go with that. I just wanted to get the opinions of people with the vast expertise that I don't have and see what their inputs are.

saw this the other day. Its a fiat not sure of the model or trim but I liked it. This pic does it no justice that thing was spotless. Guy had a big v8 poking out of the hood that thing looked deadly.

That looks awesome... but out of my budget. lol :P

gotta have some deep pockets and mad skills to upkeep those bastards! lol

I'd reccomend a 240sx if you can find one in decent shape .. 89-90 with a sohc motor and do a swap .. or find one with a decent mile KA24de.. but they can get pricey.

U can look into a mid 90's Subaru RS .. awd fun!

Well... Update...

Found a del sol with no engine. Trying to negotiate with the guy.

Found a miata a bit higher than I would like... but it is in really good condition.

Found a tacoma... mmmmm truck...


So... hopefully I get a good deal on one of those three or else it's back to shopping.
