I have one just like this. You can't tell from the photo, but Chairman Mao's arm waves when the watch is running. It was a present, I have no idea how much it cost, but I'd be shocked if it was over $10 US.

One on the left is the fake because the one on the right has a working day magnification. The one on the right is the $25k one.

They both have proper magnification, its probably just the angle difference. But how you can tell that the one on the right is fake, is the reflection you see in the cyclops. The left side is clear because it has an anti-reflective coating applied.

Nowadays, its just very subtle differences like that, that distinguish a genuine piece from a replica.

and it's fitted with an ETA movement. It may not have AP engraved on the rotor, but its pretty much the same damn watch. Comparisons like that are what make it hard for me to plop down thousands for the watch I want.

Aww man i got it wrong? i guess i need to go back and watch more Bones and Psych to further hone my abilities of noticing fine details.

On a side note, i also ordered one of those Chairman Mao pocket watches, not because i support Communism but i thought it was cool how his arms are waving to you and pointing out the time.
