I had 8s till my right one got ripped out. The holes closed back up in about 6 months I never wanted them so big, if I ever took them out my ears would look fucked up

Wow, after all the bashing in this thread I'm a little hesitant to even be a part of it...but since the OP asked and I'm hoping maybe I can answer some relevant questions.

All I have is instagram pictures, so apologize for the "hipsterness"

With plugs in. (40mm for those curious)


This is my ears without plugs in. That's a 6 gauge hoop for reference.


If I leave my plugs out for an extended period of time they'll close up to about 12mm, but with a little weight they go back up to 25mm in a couple of hours.

It's been a long time since I've smelt either, but they can get a little foul if you don't take care of them. Everyone's different though so it's hard to say really. Mine are fine as long as I clean them in the mornings and don't wear metal jewelry for extended periods of time.

Weird...I did mine 10 years ago...still no regrets.

I'm stretched 7/16. With Buffalo horn plugs. I'm not going any further. And in case no answered ur questions best tip I can give is jajoba oil and vitamin e oil. Take ur time and go slow. There is no rush. Don't skip sizes. I did and ended up fucking up nerves in my left ear.

I did this twice. I gradually went up from a 12 all the way to a 2. My ears easily went back to normal.
