IM SICK AND TIRED of them calling my iphone and house phone. i have blacklist on my iphone and have restricted ALL NUMBERS that arent in my contacts to get a lovely BUSY signal when they call, however i get at least 6 calls from telemarketers daily from AZ,NY,VT,NH,&FL and they CALL TWICE about 2 hours or so apart.

Supposedly this is good for 10 years @ Least

I love getting them on my cell phone. I usually just hang up. Though, I do totally tear them a new one when they wake me up.

@crazymike Before blacklist they used to wake me up every morning for weeks and I WAS PISSY !

I got a call from one last week where they woke me up around 8pm while I was having a nap. I don't have call display on my cell anymore, so I don't know who's calling, so I answer. Finding out it was a telemarketer, I was so pissed, I gave them such an earful that they hung up on me.

I stupidly entered some information in response to a Facebook ad regarding grants and scholarships for grad school. It felt fishy after I was halfway through, so I never clicked "submit". Apparently, they still got my info anyway! I started getting spam texts and random calls advertising cruises and shit... on my private, unlisted cell phone.

I got sick of it while at work, went on that site on my phone while I was parked at a rest stop in the mountains ("mountains"... this is NJ, after all...) and that was the end of it!

Unfortunately you will still get calls, my house gets 4-10 a day. Telemarketers don't care about the law very much and use fake ids of charities or are claiming to be polling.

That's when you report them to the FCC. If enough people do, they'll be in some serious trouble!

when they call, i ask them for their phone number. they usually say they can't do that or they ask why. if they ask why... I tell them so i can call them at 3am in the morning and wake their ass up. If they say they can't do that, I tell them to take my number off their list, do not call me again, or I will report them. In Ontario Canada, they have to listen, or they can be fined, usually ends up firing the person that is calling.

My stepfather used to keep them talking as long as possible. I think I listened to him talk for 15 minutes to a telemarketer that thought he was making a big sale. Then my stepfather politely told him that he's not interested, and asked the telemarketer to never call again. I wish I could hear what the guy's response was!

That wasn't really a bad thing... There/Their/They're is just one of the most improperly used words... it was interesting to see a new concoction!
