we don't answer the house phone. if you want to contact a particular person, they have cell phones.

at least with facebook messaging, the other person is identified.

i did it for the home phone right away.. i never got any calls on my cell phone, but i still sent my info anyways..

and yes, there are still a shitload of calls that you may still get (home phone at least).. charities, political bullshit and surveys are pretty much exempt from that list.. the good thing is, if you dont answer and call back the number, you normally will get a recording that will give you an option to opt out/remove your number and thatll take care of it.. at least for THAT number you called..
