Hacking paypal acct through money requests?

    Is it possible?

Im just a little weirded out by some guy on androidforums. Im selling a phone and he is insisting that I send him a money request through paypal with a note about the sale, he wont just send the payment with a note to what the purchase is for.

I've have sent the request twice, and he keeps saying hes not getting it... now he wants me to send a request specifically from my computer and not a PP app. It could be a legitimate reason for the request to not go through, I just dont get why this guy is being this way over a payment.

Has anyone sold to someone who was like that? I dont see how I could be in danger, but the fact that he is so insistent kind of scares me a little.

That is true. Nevertheless, I have stopped contact with him. If he did try something and it didn't work, I'm not letting him try again.

I would change your Paypal login info, and perhaps even contact Paypal alerting them to a possible suspicious situation. You don't want to find out 3 months from now that whatever he tried DID work, and he just waited until you've hopefully forgotten about him!
